Seoul National University Visiting SSIS
It has been a busy day on campus. Four representatives from Korea’s top ranked university-Seoul National University visited SSIS. It was a great turnout. Around 80 parents from 11 different schools came for the event–some even travelled all the way from Hangzhou and Suzhou! The representatives introduced the institution to our guests and visitors, followed by a Q&A session during which many of the parents were able to ask questions.
Coming up next–Sungkyunkwan University is also coming! The representatives will be here next Tuesday, May 23rd, and the presentation begins at 10:00 a.m. If you would like to participate in this event, please come sign up with the counseling department.
Note: If you do not sign up by the day before the event (Monday, May 22nd), you will need to go to your normal class.
Examples of Personal Statements/Essays
One of the most commonly asked questions by our students is how to write an impressive personal statement/essay. Well, the New York Times recently published this year’s college essays that stood out. Do take some time to read them and get some inspirations. Also, the Counseling Department will touch upon this topic in Grade 12’s guidance class.
