Message from Campus Principal, Term 2, Week 7
A”thumbs-up” experience means that students were all safely belted, with students demonstrating care and also being respectful of one another during the ride, including towards the bus driver and bus teacher. We are also encouraging our students to find out the names of their bus driver and teacher. We hope that with the results of the Happy Bus project, we will be able to roll out a long-term system to enhance the overall bus experience for all.
A few weeks ago, we announced the successful achievement of SSIS candidate status for CIS Re-Accreditation. As we move along this 18-month long process, one of the crucial milestone is the completion of the CIS Community Survey. Over the next week, we will be sending an email with the survey link to all our stakeholders – parents, students, alumni, faculty, support staff and the board and this survey will need to be completed within a stipulated period of no more than three weeks. Your input is key! This data will serve as important basis for our evaluation as we strive to seek excellence as a school.
Last but not least, we look to welcome our youngest members to Senior School this coming Tuesday (24 January 2018). Our current Grade 6 students from Xuhui and Minhang will meet again in the Minhang campus for a time to experience a semblance of life in the upper grades. We cannot wait to have them and we know that they will have a wonderful time participating in all the activities that we have lined up for them.
