Message from Campus Principal, Term 3, Week 2
Dear Senior School Parents,
During assembly on Monday, we have reminded students of the Media Use Guidelines that they agreed to when they signed the Student Code of Conduct.
Firstly, to encourage communication and collaboration in our senior school students, we have a Form Time or Homeroom time from 8:30-8:40 Tuesday to Friday. This is used for catching up on announcements around the school, working on House activities, and generally socializing with the other students in their grade level and program. This time between 8:30-8:40 has two important requirements:
- When the bell rings at 8:30, that students are in their own form room.
- All electronic devices have been put away
Secondly, we have reinforced that media devices are only to be used in class at the teacher’s discretion. Improper use may result in the device being confiscated until the day’s end, and frequent issues requiring more serious action.
With cooperation on all fronts, we hope that these reinforcements will develop better communicators who are well-adapted to the world around them.
INTERNATIONAL FRIENDSHIP DAY (IFD)
April is the month of the highly anticipated event on the school calendar – IFD. Similar to past IFDs, besides the mouth-watering food and fun traditional games on offer, PSG is hoping to raise funds to donate to help Dong’er with her surgery. You can help by purchasing the IFD coupon booklets. Students will have the FINAL opportunity to buy the pre-sales coupons on Monday and Tuesday from 12.30 – 1.30 pm, outside the Merlion Cafe.
SENIOR SCHOOL ATHLETICS COMPETITION
We had a Sabre Track Day on Wednesday the 4th of April. It was another fun day in SSIS. Students competed in their choice of sports while enjoying the great weather outside.

G10 & G12 IGCSE and IBDP Exams (27 April 2018)
Grade 10 and 12 students have just completed their Mock Exams. Now is the time to have feedback from their teachers, improve their work and revise the subject content for their final preparation. The culmination of their near 2 year-program is fast approaching. Almost a month later, on the 27th of April they will start taking their final examinations.
